LOVE LETTER TO SHEFFIELD UNITED
First of I have to start with an apology. An apology to all Sheff Utd fans....I said in article 1 that yous may struggle this season but by god is your team is an absolute joy to watch. Overlapping centre backs, inverted full backs, Number 10s picking the ball up in their own half, goalkeepers with baseball caps on...the list goes on. What an absolute breath of fresh air to see because the football they play is clear and straight forward - work hard, attack fast and defend in numbers...if Sundays performance is anything to go by, they may have a sniff of staying up...and I hope they do.
Liverpool v Arsenal - Saturday 24th August 17:30pm KO
Battle of the 2 teams with 100% record - someones must end .
Arsenal under Emery do look a better side going forward, its in behind which i think they struggle. Last 3 trips to Anfield has seen Liverpool score at least 3 goals, and haven't beaten Liverpool in their last 8 meetings (4 Losses, 4 Draws)
Both tams to score has landed in 10 of their last 12 meetings with this fixture; at Anfield has seen on average 5 goals per game at Anfield (30 goals in 6 games) so expect a high scoring game with plenty of action
FOOTBALL INDEX & FANTASY FOOTBALL PLAYERS
Raheem Sterling - Make him your triple captain or find space for him because the boy is on fire. Away to Bournemouth who predominantly like to play expansively, Raheem should find a few chances and lately that's all hes needs.
Lucas Moura - Came off the bench to nab an equaliser at City, Pocchetino has already come out and said he will start on Sunday against a poor Newcastle team (my Sunderland bias). His pace will cause Newcastles caravan pulling backline a few problems so he should bag, does usually come in spurts too if he scores once he usually goes to score in the next 2 or 3 games.
Eddie Nketiah - @ £1.78 is a snip for a player on loan at Leeds. He has already scored a couple of goals in his short time and looks a real prospect, remember its playing the long term game with this and he looks an amazing prospect.
Raul Jimenez - @ £1.29 - front line forward for Wolves who look to be in the Europa League group stages - will start and score most weeks for Wolves in the Premier League - looks an amazing price considering he has already had a full season in the Premier League and will be performing on the European stages.
